Today’s tour is going to be at Omushi, Hatsukaichi with the Mexican Judo players!!
Before the festival started it was snowing in Omushi…
But the weather has turned sunny! The cherry blossom was beautiful!
After a good meal, was writing a “Ema”.
(A little explanation of “Ema”. “E” is art. “ma” is horse in Japanese. “Ema” is a votive picture tablet that has a horse picture and we offer to a shrine or temple when we pray for something.)
Next is “Syodo”(calligraphy) experience. They had written there names in “Katakana”.
Finally the “mochi”(rice cake) making time!
The players and the people who joined the festival took turns to pound the “mochi”!!
On the way home we stopped by “Kasanari-iwa”
A huge rock on top of a rock with no stable supports. And people come there to prey for success!
Cheers to the Mexican players! Good luck!
Thanks for joining the tour!!
